Every job-alert email your board sends (the confirmation email, instant alerts, and daily or weekly digests) is wrapped in a branded layout: your logo or board name in the header, your accent color on links and buttons, and replies routed to your support address. You control all of that from the dashboard; the actual sending runs on easyboard's managed, verified email infrastructure, so you never have to configure DNS records or worry about deliverability.
What you can brand, and what stays fixed
From name: the sender name subscribers see in their inbox, for example "Acme Jobs" instead of a bare address.
Accent color: the color of job links, buttons (like Confirm alerts), and your board name in the header when no logo is set.
Logo: your board logo, shown at the top of every email.
Reply-to: your support email address, so a subscriber who hits reply reaches you.
The sending address stays fixed: emails are delivered from easyboard's verified sender. This is deliberate; a verified, warmed-up sender keeps your alerts out of spam folders. Only the visible name and content are yours.
Set the from name and accent color
In the sidebar, open Engagement and click Email & newsletter.
In the Email branding card, fill in From name. A good value is simply your board's name, such as "Acme Jobs". If you leave it empty, easyboard falls back to your board name automatically, so the field is only needed when you want something different.
Set the Accent color either with the color swatch (opens your browser's color picker) or by typing a 6-digit hex code in the text field, for example
#4f46e5. That indigo is the default; if the value is not a valid 6-digit hex code, emails silently fall back to the default color.Click Save.
You should see an "Email settings saved" toast. The next email your board sends uses the new values; nothing is re-sent retroactively.
Tip: pick an accent with enough contrast against white. The accent is used for white button text on a colored background, so very light colors (pale yellows, light grays) make the Confirm button hard to read.
Add your logo
Alert emails reuse your board logo; there is no separate email logo upload.
In the sidebar, click Settings (at the bottom), then open General.
Upload your board logo there and save.
With a logo set, the email header shows the image (scaled to fit, up to 40px tall). Without one, the header shows your board name as text in your accent color, which looks perfectly fine for a new board, so the logo is optional.
Set the reply-to address
Replies go to your board's support email, which also comes from General settings:
In the sidebar, click Settings, then open General.
Fill in the Support email field and save.
When it is set, any subscriber who replies to an alert reaches that address. When it is empty, replies go nowhere useful, so set it before you expect real subscribers.
What the finished email looks like
Each email is a single centered card:
A header row with your logo (or your board name in the accent color).
A heading and body, for example "A new job matches your alert" with the job title as a link in your accent color, and the company plus location underneath.
Digests list each new job as a row and end with a Browse all jobs button in your accent color that links to your board.
A footer explaining why they received the email, with Manage and Unsubscribe links.
Test it
The quickest end-to-end test: open your own board, go to /alerts, subscribe with your personal email and the As soon as a job is posted frequency, click Confirm alerts in the email you receive, then publish a job. Within moments you get a real alert exactly as subscribers will see it, from name, logo, colors and all. See Job alerts for the full flow, and Newsletter sync (Mailchimp, ConvertKit) to route the same subscribers into your own list. Your on-site colors are managed separately, under Brand colors and fonts.
