Posting products are the core of most job boards' revenue: an employer pays, gets one or more job posting credits, and posts. This guide creates a posting product field by field, then covers featured and pinned upgrades and what employers see when they buy. Prerequisite: a connected Stripe account, see Connect Stripe to get paid.
How selling postings works
Everything you sell is a product on the Products page. Every active, public product with the audience "Employers" appears as a card on your board's public pricing page at /pricing. When an employer buys one, they get the product's job posting credits (1 credit = 1 published job), the jobs they post run for the product's listing duration, and the sale lands in Orders.
Create a posting product
In the sidebar, open Monetization and click Products.
Click Add product (top right, also in the center of the page while the list is empty).
Fill in Name (required), for example "Single Job Posting". This is the card title on your pricing page.
Add a Description: rich text shown inside the pricing card. Use bullets to list what's included.
Optionally add Highlight bullets, one per line (up to 12). These render as checkmarked bullets above the plan's built-in perks; think "Priority support" or "Homepage placement".
Optionally set Call to action, the buy button's label. Left empty it defaults to "Get Started".
Leave Audience on Employers (the default).
Leave Active on and Visibility on Public (more on these below).
In the Pricing card, keep Pricing model on One-off purchase and enter a Price, for example 99.00, and a Currency. Do not leave the price empty: an empty price is saved as 0 and the product behaves as free.
In the Job posting card, set Job posting credits (default 1) and Job listing duration (days) (default 30).
Click Create product at the bottom (a contextual save bar also appears at the top while there are unsaved changes).
You should see a "Product saved" confirmation, and the page switches to the product's edit screen. Back on the Products list, the product shows under the Employers group with its price and an Active badge, and a View pricing page button appears in the header so you can see the live card immediately.
Every field explained
Active: inactive products are hidden from the board and can't be purchased. Use it to retire an offer without deleting its history.
Visibility: Public products appear on the pricing page; Private (link only) products are reachable only by direct link, useful for custom deals you quote over email.
Pricing model: Free, One-off purchase, or Subscription (recurring; covered in Employer subscriptions and packages).
Compare-at price: optional; shown struck-through next to the real price to signal a discount. It must be higher than the actual price.
Offer badge: optional short label on the card, for example "Save 60%".
Job posting credits: how many jobs the buyer can post. Flip the Unlimited switch instead of a number for all-you-can-post packages.
Credits expire after (days): default 365; blank means credits never expire.
Job listing duration (days): how long each posted job stays live; blank falls back to 30.
Available from / Available until (Advanced card): schedule a product; blank means available now, with no end date.
Limit per employer (Advanced card): the max times one employer can buy this product; blank means no limit. Handy for "first posting 50% off" style offers.
External payment URL (Advanced card): a full https:// URL that sends buyers to your own invoice, purchase order, or payment gateway instead of Stripe Checkout. easyboard records no order for these; you fulfil the purchase manually.
Sell featured and pinned placement
Two ways to monetize placement:
Bake it into a premium package. In the Job posting card, turn on Featured listings (jobs posted with this product are highlighted on the board), Pinned to top (pinned above the rest), or Feature the employer (the buying employer is featured on your home page). Price the package accordingly, for example a "Featured Posting" above your standard one.
Sell an add-on for an existing job. Set Add-on / upsell to one of Featured (highlight the listing), Urgent (add an Urgent badge), or Boost (re-surface to the top). An add-on product isn't a standalone posting: employers buy it for a specific job they already posted, through the Promote flow.
Manage your pricing page
Reorder: drag the handle at the left of each row on the Products page; the order is the order cards appear on the pricing page.
Edit: click a product's name (or the pencil icon). Saving shows "Product saved" and keeps you on the page.
Delete: the trash icon asks for confirmation; the product is removed from your pricing page but past orders keep their record.
Hide the whole page: the employer pricing page has an on/off switch under Settings, then Payment platform.
What employers see at checkout
On your board's /pricing page, each product is a card with the description, bullets, price, and your call-to-action button. For paid products there is a Promo code box with an Apply button (see Coupons and discounts); a valid code shows the old price struck through next to the discounted one. Clicking the buy button sends the employer to Stripe Checkout, Stripe's hosted payment page; afterwards they land back on your board and the sale appears in Orders. Free products skip payment entirely and are claimed through a short dialog. If Stripe isn't connected yet, paid buttons read Checkout unavailable, so connect Stripe before announcing your pricing page.
